Austin Powers & The Legends In SAMOA
Auntie Lanu’s
Charity fundraiser for Diabetes APRIL 2009
Once again
we had an awesome time in Samoa, raising money for a
fantastic cause. So many Samoan people have diabetes and it
was a great honour to travel to Samoa in late March to
perform.

This year
we had a rock n roll theme for the 1st half of the show,
followed by the Austin & Legends in the 2nd half.
Gary
performed as the host Ed McSullivan, introducing, Buddy
Holly, the Beatles, Rock n Roll chicks & a young Elvis.
We raised
$30,000 Tale (NZ$22,500.00 ) for the event this year, which
is more than last year, and a bigger turn out of patrons
including many dignitaries, Members of Parliament and the
Head Of State.
A very big
thank you to KONRAD AND CECEILA KEIL for all their
assistance and generosity in making us welcome on their
beautiful country and home and with all the help of their
amazing family.
