Hi I am Tony Wellington or otherwise known and advertised as Tauranga's Roy Orbison.

I have been performing all of Roy Orbison classics for 3 years now and and have been a fan of his since a very young age.

In the past 3 years I have performed at many venues and events such as the Tauranga R.S.A, Tauranga Citz Club, Matamata Memorial Hall, 21st's, 50th's and 60th's.

I make guest appearances for various country clubs and charity shows which fund raise for different cancer foundations.

To All Those Pretty Women Out There...

I have also recently appeared in Stars in their eyes as the Big "O". I won my heat and went on to be one of nine grand finalist's for the show.

I always receive great feedback from people at shows that they have seen me appear in. Most people wonder why I am not performing as Roy for a living.

I have met and performed with many well known artists on the New Zealand circuit over the years also and have always had receptive feedback from them also.

Roy Orbison or the Big "O" as people like to call me, is my idol and was my inspiration to start singing. I hope that if Roy were to see me singing his songs he would think I was honest to his unique sound.
