PAST
Emmeline grew up on the stage. At an early age her natural
talent soon shone through earning her lead in the school
choir, lead dancer in ballet and she was a regular cast
member of numerous musical shows through out her childhood.
Emmeline’s professional career began as a result of winning
a Karaoke competition, being spotted by a promoter, Emmeline
was invited to join ‘Living Proof’ a popular and hard
working show band.
Emmeline’s natural talent and enthusiasm made her a great
asset to the band. Performing ABBA, Beetles, Fleetwood Mad
and Rock n Roll tribute shows. Before long Emmeline was
bringing down the house with powerful portrayals of Tina
Turner and Cher. Touring throughout New Zealand and regular
trips to the Gold Coast and Sydney Australia, saw Emmeline
become a national and international performer, broadening
her already extensive talents. A
change of pace lead Emmeline into Jazz, an
opportunity to develop her voice further and
experiment with different styles.
As a seasoned performer
Emmeline embarked on a solo career. Performing with
some of New Zealand’s top club acts and her own
shows.
